About the Position
At NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care, a Pediatrician works in Primary Care and Urgent Care alongside a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver the highest quality screening, diagnosis, and treatment to patients ranging from newborns to 21 years old. In addition to general medicine, a Pediatrician needs thorough knowledge of growth and development in children. Because many of our patients have limited communication skills, you will need to provide a diagnosis based on visual and auditory indicators. Strong, sympathetic communication skills are vital for you to communicate well with children and their parents. As a Pediatrician with NightLight, you will treat a variety of minor, non-emergent health issues, such as:
- Allergic reactions
- Asthma attacks and breathing treatments
- Pain relief
- Rashes and hives
- Wound care and stitches
- Fever management and education
- Wart removal
- Broken bones, sprains, and burns
- Cold, flu, and fevers
- Vomiting and stomach pain
- Mild to moderate dehydration

Shift Schedule
- Full Time: 4 Shifts per Week
- Part Time: 2-3 Shifts per Week
- PRN: Minimum of 3 Shifts per Month (2 weekend days)
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical School
- Successful completion of an accredited Residency program
- Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics, Med-Peds
- Current PALS or BLS certification
- Texas Medical Board licensure
